Deer hunting in idaho

Think I’m going to just hunt Idaho next yr disabled vet like 50 dollars for tag and license. Thinking of hunting southern part of state for a mule deer buck. It’s like nite and day I’ve talked to there fish and game office very helpful and friendly even the biologist.

I hunted Idaho east of Soda Springs, west of Afton Wyoming. It was many many years ago, fun when the elevation starts out at 6500 feet. Saw some huge deer, and moose too!
Yes it is a different world over there, they understand what hunters are all about.
