Sharing, seems to be the latest trend (wanted or not). So I felt this might be a good time to share "Family Recipes" that have been passed down, yet never allowed outside the Immediate Family.
My Mom lived to be 94 years old and would have gladly taken her "Secret Ingredient" Recipes to the grave with her, rather than have them discovered by those "prying shirt tail relatives".

My Father soon learned how important these recipes were to my Mom, when on their Honeymoon she made for him, her Homemade
"Picked To Pieces Noodle Soup".
Dad exclaimed as he looked into his bowl.... "Hey! What kind of Funny looking Noodles are these"? As Mom rushed out of the room crying "They are not Funny Looking Noodles"......Yep, the Honeymoon was over!

Mama's Picked to Pieces Noodle Soup

6 Tablespoons Flour (to thicken)
1/4 Teaspoon Baking Powder
4 Cups Milk
2 Tablespoons Butter

In a One Quart pot heat Butter and Milk almost to a boil
Stir Flour and Baking Powder together with Eggs to make a thick batter (Noodles)
Dip a spoon into the hot milk and then spoon the dough pieces into the milk. Cook on low until soft and floating (about 15 minutes)
