Governor Inslee Bans Events - SCINW April 4th Banquet Cancelled!!!

For the past few months we have all seen the coronavirus spread across many nations, including the United States.  Washington State has been hit exceptionally hard; our hearts and prayers go out to the individuals who have contracted this virus and their families.

At 10:15AM Wednesday March 11th, Governor Inslee declared a health emergency announced all meetings of 250 people or more were banned.

This means our April 4th banquet is being cancelled.  The Chapter Banquet Committee has done a great job of organizing and planning for a fantastic event.  This committee along with the Chapter Board have been preparing for possible impacts to our 2020 banquet by the spread of the coronavirus for some time.

If you have purchased tickets you will be receiving refunds in the very near future.

The good news is the on-line auction will still be taking place, with a great selection of outdoor equipment and world class hunts up for bid. To see items available for bid please go to https://www.onlinehuntingauctions.com and visit the SCINW on-line auction.

I truly regret any inconvenience this has cause and hope to see you at the NW Chapter’s 2021 banquet.

Sincerely,

David Irons

SCINW Chapter President

My assumption that with the current chaos and economy and no real answer from the state on what happens if fall seasons are affected by the corona  virus and you bought an auction tag that this tag would sell for less than normal... Wrong.. it still brought in over 20k Good luck to the hunter and thanks for your contribution..
