Higgins Point, Lake Coeur d"Alene
« on: April 17, 2020, 08:48:43 PM »
Anyone fished around that area of lake Coeur d'Alene?  Heading out there tomorrow and was hoping someone was familiar with it?  Water depth in that area?  Thanks for any tips or advice for that area.   :hello:

Good luck! Are you hanging herring under a bobber?

Nope, no bait allowed.  It's a small fishing tourney, 15 guys in kayaks, and me on my cataraft.  Artificial bait only, per the tourney rules.  $20 in a can, big fish takes it all.  Just an impromptu get together.  To keep with the social distancing we are all launching from two different launches, Higgins Point and Mineral Ridge.

Boom, check out what would have been a $300 fish!  I was in a fishing tournament today, longest fish wins the pot, which was $300.  My bass was 21 inch largemouth.  Next biggest fish was a tad over 18 inch smallie.  However I was unable to get a good enough photo of the fish, tape measure and identifier for the tournament.   :bash:
