Has anybody hit this lake yet?
Im thinking about running over to give it a try.
I wonder if it would be a better choice to just hit Banks lake?
Plus does anybody know if the gate is even open to go in there?
Last time I was over there it was closed.

They close the gates for over winter, they "should" be open by now but this year maybe not. I have not been there this season. It can be good fishing but it can also be a dead zone. Also there is usually a bunch of partiers camping out around there. I'd hit Banks.

Thats is more than likely what I will end up doing. The fishing is always good on Banks.

The bass fishing should be red hot. Hole in the Wall area and the flats on the south side of Steam Boat. Probably lots of bedding fish on the flats you can sight fish.
