Tabs are now back to the way they've been for weeks, maybe they did a trial run this morning.  :dunno:

Online it says the 20th which is a Saturday so who the heck knows

It always says the 20th but has happened as early as the 12th or 13th in years past.  Maybe the system is getting glitchy since so many people are repeatedly checking their status.  I may well be part of the problem but in the words of the bank robber from Dirty Harry, "I gots to know!"  :chuckle:

Everything is restored and working like it was yesterday. Must have been a test run

It wouldn't surprise me if the last guy out of the ODFW office tomorrow hits the computer button to post results right before he turns off the lights and locks the door for the weekend.

Saw over on another board ODFW replied on FB that it’ll be Sat. I think they want to stick with the date as much as possible. Sure, fine.

But isn’t there some kind of interstate rivalry or pride when it comes to this stuff? We have states with much less lag time and providing draw stats. I’d be embarrassed a little.

When we first started the computer draw system, I seem to remember being told that eventually, (when the kinks were worked out) there would only be a ten day period between the application deadline and the results being posted.  It has only been less than a month once or twice to my recollection, and then only by a couple days.  As far as Facebook goes or any other media, they always stick to saying it'll be on the 20th, right up until it actually happens.

Just got a "System down for maintenance" message on the ODFW website.

I sure wouldn't bet against that.  But there's always a chance, given that they're state employees, that they leave at noon on Fridays and the results will appear as the last employee goes out the door.
