NV Antelope 61,62,64,71&73?
« on: June 19, 2020, 01:14:34 PM »
My dad finally drew a NV antelope tag, but not as familiar with that part of the state.

Anybody have any insights they'd be willing to share?

Thanks!

I drew that tag in 2014 if I remember right.  Good numbers of antelopes in all the units.  I ended up killing mine in unit 64.  I only saw a couple of big bucks.  1 on private and another I passed on my first day of hunting.  A young kid killed it later that day and I got to put my hands on it.  It was just over 80.  It's a fun hunt.  Cold at night and hotter than hell during the day.

I had that tag about ten years ago. Fun hunt. Killed a nice buck in 73 near Charleston Reservoir. Ditto on the temperatures: 20s at night and 90s during the day when I was there.

Good luck.
