Fishing Les Davis?
« on: July 06, 2020, 05:41:47 PM »
So I am driving my girlfriend to get some new ink tomorrow in T-town. With social distancing and all that, I cannot enter the building and it's gonna be about 3 hours or maybe more...

I am eyeballing the Les Davis fishing pier to kill some time (and hopefully some fish!). My question is what should I be targeting and what kinda set up(s) should I bring/ have at the ready?

Any tips/pointers/advice is welcomed. Thx

Its been 35-40 years but the pier you would want to fish is either Pt. Defiance at the boathouse or the pier north of shenanigans.  If I remember Les Davis pier is  the oldest of the piers a bit further south.  If you have the right rod/reel I would target salmon.  Get a Pt Wilson dart 2-3 oz and have fun.  Might catch a dandy.

It’s been pretty crowded on Les Davis in the afternoon. Mostly people fishing bait on the bottom. It’s hard to beat a white dart for salmon out there if ya get lucky.
