Traeger pizza
« on: July 09, 2020, 07:00:56 PM »
Haven’t made pizza in awhile. Store bought thin crust dough. Hot Italian, sausage pepperoni, bell, mushrooms, onion and lots of mozz cheese.

Looks good  What store bought crust did you use? We used to use the ball of dough one, but really like the Walenka(or something like that) one that all you have to do is roll it out like Pillsbury.

Yep that's it.  Our latest thing is to take 2 of the thin crust ones, layer cheese between to make a stuffed crust. Need to cook the crusts for a bit though before adding sauce and rest of pizza toppings

I am hungry! Is that straight on the grill or do you use a griddle or stone?

We did traeger pizza yesterday.  We cheated and did Costco’s frozen Manhattan pizza and it turned out amazing.   If you haven’t tried traeger pizza you need to...it is amazing.

Haven't done them on a Traegar but Trader Joe's makes some really good crust.

If you want an easy, tasty and healthy pizza crust option try this one.

2 cups self rising flour
1 cup plain greek yogurt
* add in whatever spices you want. I use some basil, oregano, black pepper and garlic

I used to use a stone but they break easy. Switched to a cast iron pizza pan and LOVE it.

nearly anything tastes better on a trager. Frozen borritios, Check Frozen pizza check, roasted frozen vegetables check...
