Sinlahiken quality
« on: July 27, 2020, 10:03:46 PM »
My dad drew this tag, we have never hunted the unit, was looking to see if anyone can point us it the right direction.  It's a big unit and we plan to maybe go scout it out when grouse season opens, and also during regular season.  He's 70 at it would be cool to find him a nice buck.

Main rd runs right through the bottom of the Valley from fish lake to Loomis. Deer throughout, couple arterial Rds Up and out of the canyon and plenty of land to Glass from the rd. I’ve never hunted it but if I were too, I’d be driving and glassing all day.

Good luck, should be a fun hunt this year.

My family hunts here every year. We haven’t drawn the quality tag, but we have been there during November for a whitetail buck tag. As already said drive and glass hard as many days as you can during the season. Lots of country for the snow to push deer down, get up as high as you can depending on snow! Have seen some big mulies, should be fun. Good luck and make sure you update us after season
