Does anyone else not have an option to buy a MS deer tag online? I put in for a MS deer as a points option, so that should count as applying where I can buy a leftover MS deer tag, correct? It only shows the MS elk tag, which I wasn't drawn for and can not purchase.  :dunno:
Have to put in.  If you put in for points you are out of luck

It just says you have to apply, which a points only app is an application. Is there something stating if you put in for points then you can't buy a leftover MS tag?
Apply is the key word. When you just put in for points you are not applying for the multi tag you are just building points.  So since there is no way to draw the tag you aren't actually applying for the tag.

I was able to buy one by calling today, so a points only app counts.

Interesting.  I was called the wdfw about e years ago and they total me you had to apply to get a left over tag and if you put in for points you couldn't purchase a left over tag. That's good to know now

Maybe I am overthinking this. But, if the next 115 in line to buy the multi-season elk were given the opportunity to buy them I would say there is a high likelihood that not all 115 bought them. No way 100 percent of those people bought the tags.

That's crossed my mind, was I 116?  If so, what?  Squeaky wheel gets the grease?  I'll take it if offered.   :twocents:
