Primos Coyote Bear Buster?
« on: April 15, 2009, 09:42:53 PM »
Anybody ever use the Primos Coyote Bear Buster fawn bleat?  Reason I ask is because I have one and after climbing 2 slopes and seeing nothing I decided to give it a blow while watching some blacktails to see how they would react.  They high-tailed to the other side of the ridge.  I'm not sure if this was positive result or does it just mean it sounds un-natural.

I have not used that specific model of call. But I have used several other primos calls which would b similar. I have noticed that some deer come running to it, some deer run from it. It just seems to depend on their mood.

Just try to make it sound lonely or hurt and you should do ok with the predators.
good luck~ :hello:

I don't know anything about that call as well, but it should work. You will know you have it down when the doe's come blowin and stompin'. :chuckle:

I hope that it will get the bear in and hungry.  I have a hands free by modern calls, but it's not very loud and I'll save it for when I need both hands.  Like when I just need him to turn broadside or something like that.
