Onalaska elk?

Hve been working at a tree farm near Onalaska for the past few weeks to secure exclusive hunting rights to a 160 acre plot of land.  I have seen a lot of fresh elk sign lately and the land owner says they are around. 

 Are the elk in that area during the early Muzz. season in Oct.?

yes  they are around. i have seen them there in sept archery  season  and into early oct.
