anyone ver use a deer drag scent tactic

ive tried rattling and grunting, have called in one buck, had others respond to my grunt, just never did see him.  wondering if anyone has tried or had any luck using a scent drag.  for either whitetail or mule deer, if that matters at all, and what product has anyone had luck with
