Vortex defender flip cap question
« on: October 10, 2020, 02:43:55 PM »
I have a vortex pst gen 2 5-25x50 rifle scope and want to get a scope cap to protect the lense while hiking in the rain or going through brush. What size denfender cap do I need to go with? What works best for you? Thank you In advance.

I don't know but would say I wasn't a big fan of them.  I hunted with them for a day or two and off they came, just didn't work very well.  They were hard to open and most of the time they would come half off every time I tried to open them.  Butler Creek makes a far better product in my opinion, something to think about.

The ones I had were very hard to open, so when you pushed on the tab to open them it would pull the cap right off the scope and they still wouldn't be open if that makes sense.

Had the same problem with them slipping off. Won't buy them again.
