Thinking about buying a E caller

FWIW here is an e-mail from an Iotec tech support man.  It has all but one of the features I want but does not accept an external battery power source.  Like most e-callers, it has a ton of extra features I don't want, but most gizmos are like that from computers to phones.   

my recommendation would be the Sabre model. It has a 10watt paging speaker that cranks out volume with clarity. It plays our encrypted GCX sounds from ICOtec as well as MP3 or Wav audio files. The remote is easily navigated and has a range of 300 yards, two favorites banks that store 10 sounds each, a play, pause, stop, volume up/down, channel up/down (for sound selection) a menu to change settings to day/night display, display brightness, sequence delay and sleep mode timer. It also has a “Coax” button, that button changes to a users pre set sound that can be changed to immediately, for example, a lot of people set it as a pup distress for after a shot on a coyote, me personally I set it as a mouse vole to sucker them in closer to shorten up the drag after the shot!
You’ll find that our callers are excellent on battery life, I use the ICOtec C4 rechargeable pack in mine, I hunt a lot and get almost two months per charge.

To add onto the shockwave support, it has a function called FOXBANG similar to the COAX function. Except the foxbang is triggered by hearing the muzzle blast then goes to the sound of your choice. However, it is quite sensitive. Dropped the remote onto a rock one time and it immediately went to KI YI at full volume haha

I have Foxpros Xwave MFK version badazz Vocals and i got the black friday X2s with 650 foxpro sounds some good ones.  the Foxpro inferno is a great buy .

So.. Icotec vs. Lucky Duck? Me personally have been leaning towards Icotec. I really like the feature of adding more sounds.

I got the foxpro inferno. Also got the add-on decoy for about $65.  It has more features than I have skills so far.  I'm happy with my choice.

I made a couple custom sound tracks for it also.  A couple from my cats throwing a fit when they were in a kitty carrier cage. A couple other tracks from some young chickens squacking up a storm when they were caught and held.

I used a CD player and home burned CDs with the free .mp3 sounds I found.

Worked fine, not super loud but it was good enough and I definitely killed coyotes

Lot's of people have thought of this, but bluetooth doesn't have much range. 

You could fix that with blutooth range extenders.

Then you run into volume issues, you could fix that with bluetooth amplified speakers

See where I'm going with this?

I still have a Foxpro Wildfire. Its loud and clear enough at top volume.  If it cant hear it at max its probably to far away to come where I hunt anyways.  After all these years of using it I realize that I only use about 6 sounds out of like the 50 that are on there.  The foxbang feature has not really worked for me but I cant remember how to shut it off.  LOL
