Hunting varmints in snow
« on: January 25, 2021, 01:50:29 PM »
For those of you that hunt in snow or ride snowmobiles all winter,  do you see cats and yotes in the deep snow?  Does there seem to be a snow pack depth where you stop seeing tracks?  I'm curious how high i can go and still be productive.   Thx!

We used to hunt coyotes from helicopters, I can tell you that we've seen them in snow so deep they almost disappear when running through it.  Not that you'd want to hunt in snow that deep, just that they are still there.
