shed hunting
« on: April 24, 2009, 08:42:32 PM »
Quads stay home, go ride at moses lake! Iam tired of hiking Five or Six miles in a area closed to quads to find quad tracks everywhere! yOU ARE BREAKING THE LAW. YOU CAUSE WAY MORE STRESS ON THE ANIMALS THEN A GUY WALKING. YOU TEAR UP THE FEED AND THE IMPORTANT STUFF THEY NEED TO SURVIVE. YOU ARE JUST LIKE A POACHER.

Must be in my neck of the woods.   SAME STORY just about everywhere I go, so I guess its not just "my neck of the woods."   They ruined two Father daughter hikes for me this Spring.  Seriously had to work on not hating........

100% agree - I despise quads for this reason...love the camo helmets too, nice touch.  No animal will see you coming...

Turn them in, no tickets ever get written unless you report them.  Take the "Eyes in the Woods" class and that will help the citation stick.  The Warden's have too much ground to cover to ever catch them on their own and need our help.  This is one of the worst offenses IMO.

i would rather use this  Bananallama to find sheds.

I used to have one of those.  You can even train them to sniff out the sheds.

That's true, but they bite (not with their mouths), and they smell like pickles...
