Another sitka thread
« on: April 18, 2009, 01:42:40 PM »
I would just like to know if anyone has any first hand experience with both the 90% pants and the acsent pants? I have the 90% pants and was thinking about ordering a pair of the acsent pants but I wasn't sure if I should just order another pair of 90% pants or not.

Sitka Gear is untouchable. Got a set of "Nimbus" rain gear just in time for late season. Gotta love the stuff. The only stuff to wear for the serious dude's.  8)

Just got a pair of ascent pants. Really like them for Bow season and will probably work well during rifle season with soem layering. I have a pair of the older Mountain pants that a little heavier and I like them better just slightly. Sitka stuff is great and I have been slowly getting a pretty decent collection of it. Now the new stuff in Opifade really looks good.

Cabelas has the optifade on thier website. I just got the new cabelas archery catalog and they have a few pieces in there.  Looks like a good pattern, I may buy a few pieces of it but it will be here and there. I aleady have about a dozen or more of the mothwing and really like it. Just have to sneak the other stuff in slowly. :)

What is stoneycreeks web site?  I know story creek has a pretty good sale if you need the sizes they still have left also.

Footwearoutfitters.net is having a pretty good sale right now also with free shipping over $80 I think.

Here's the link for story creek. about the best prices i've seen if you're shopping for sitka gear.  If you got the time, check out camofire.com once in a while.  They are like steepandcheap.com except for hunting gear.  lots of times its nothing i'm interested in but every once in a while there is something great for a steal.  They used to have sitka saturdays, not sure if they still do.

Ordered another pair of Ascent pants and also a pair of 90% pants today. Ordered mine from footwearoutfitters.net since they had the sizes I wanted. Almost went with the Cabelas but the shipping and having to pay tax put them quite a bit higher.

I get the camofire updates, got a couple great deals on some sitka shirts. missed out on the pants a couple weeks ago. they go fast on there.

mountain-archery also has a pretty good sale going right now on the Sitka.
