Dove Hunting
« on: August 19, 2021, 01:06:02 PM »
I am trying to get my son off the video games and into hunting, I thought doves would be a good start. I am originally from Louisiana and have no clue where to go. I am looking for a spot in Kitsap or Mason county, anyone know of some good locations in this area or on the West side period?

I wouldn't even know where to start to get access to the farms unless some areas but up to a PA area. I am going to do a walk about this weekend, I will add that area to my list. Thanks for the response.

Consider a guided hunt in Eastern Wa w/ Aaron Echkternkamp; your arms will be sore and a great setup for kids. Yeah it costs $$ but worth it (IMO)

I had a couple good hunts with his Dad, but did ‘one and done’ with Aaron. Lied, basically used it as an excuse for him and his buddy to blast everything they could. Acted like he was doing us a big favor. Can not recommend the service any more. Heard others say the same.
Cuterebra are NOT cute!

Wow, I've not heard bad comments about his outfit ever.

Maybe he straightened up? Don’t know. His Dad built up the good reputation. Up to the kid to carry it on or run it down. They have good areas to hunt. Hope he is doing better with it.

What defines an "areas of land"?
"If you have to be crazy to hunt ducks, I do not wish to be sane."
