MULE DEER?

I want to take the boy mule deer hunting next year he will be 12. never hunted east of cascades we live in longview washington. can anyone suggest a good place to take him I would like to see him get a nice buck. looked at gmus 218 but don't know the area or if this will be too intense  of an area for him any help out there? on lodging or camp sites and any other suggestions  fes2@adelphia.net
