Big news for VA Refi Borrowers Who've Used Forbearance
« on: October 22, 2021, 11:11:28 AM »
The VA IRRRL (interest Rate Reduction Refinance Loan), a no cash-out refinance and VA cash-out loans are both covered. With forbearance (skipping payments through the CARES Act policies), getting a refinance normally requires you pay back the amount of forbearance taken at the time of closing. On VA refinances, I have a lender with no such requirement. Remember that a VA loan rate typically runs up to .5% lower than conventional loans. If your current VA loan has a rate of over 3%, I may be able to get you refinanced at a lower rate with no forbearance payback. Call me for more info.
