Spy Point cameras are great when they work but as previously noted, are a bit fragile. While this won't help with the no service situation, we've had the cellular function just stop working even though the cameras are still in a service area. What has worked on multiple occasions is to open up the camera case, turn off power, pull out the SIM card, reinsert the card back into the slot making sure it clicks in and turn the camera back on. Doesn't always work but might be another tool to add to your troubleshooting bag.
