ISO German Wirehair Lab
« on: October 17, 2021, 07:05:39 AM »
My fathers dog passed away recently by impaling himself on a stick in a tree row😞(yes he was wearing a vest it slid through by his front shoulder) I’m really interested in possibly finding him a puppy and surprising him/ he’s been looking but hasn’t had any luck( reasonably priced as he’s retired) so I’m hoping there’s a litter of pups out there somewhere 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Attached is the last photo I took of Leo

Do not have a lead for you, but would caution you to make sure your Dad meets any dog you find before making it a permanent addition.
The majority of Wirehair’s I have known were ‘maniacal’ hunters, and would not stop, even for injury. Have had two take sticks, one in the gut, and one 2” up into the foot/ankle. Neither one wanted to stop. Both recovered fine.
First time I have heard of that mix!
Cuterebra are NOT cute!

From the subject line, I'm not sure ....

Are you hoping to locate a GWP-Labrador mix? or,

Are you looking for EITHER a Labrador or a GWP?
