Couple of questions for you...Both items have to be in stock for the BOGO correct? I would prefer the Octane 45 but it hasn't been in stock for a bit.For the BOGO does the $599 or $799 have to be a specific manufacturer or is it any suppressor over that $ amount? Just curious as the only ones that show a manufacturers rebate are the Silencerco branded suppressors. Thanks

The Octane 45 does not have to be in stock if that is what you want to choose for the promotional suppressor. The promotional suppressor comes direct from Silencer Co's inventory, not Silencer Shop's inventory. This promotion is specific to Silencer Co products only and includes their lower receivers. What other suppressors are you interested in?

I have heard that for a .223 that it is quieter if you get a .223 specific suppressor as opposed to using the .30 cal? If that is the case I was thinking that a .223 suppressor might be my next purchase. If it doesn't make that much difference I do like the Hybrid 46 and Omega 36M (both currently out of stock) or a Deadair Ghost (which wouldn't qualify for the BOGO)....
"There are differences across the spectrum. Most often, people that really aiming to the greatest sound reduction, they will choose caliber specific suppressors instead of over boring. With that can also come a difference in weight and size. Additionally, your intended use should dictate what you choose. Some people want to suppress their 5.56 coyote bolt action. Some people want to suppress their 5.56 SBR AR and shooting 5,000 rounds a year. Those are to vastly different sets of needs and that should dictate what options are on the table."Can you elaborate on the differences in your two examples and what the differences in suppressor would be? Thanks!
