Brad’s Super Baits
« on: December 31, 2021, 09:20:58 AM »
Looks like the supply chain issues have hit the fishing industry as well. I was planning on restocking my brads super bait series lures but they can’t be found anywhere, at least the patterns that are proven producers. Anyone have a lead on where to find these lures? Hopefully they get restocked before the salmon arrive next year. Anyone know anything on when they may start restocking the tackle shops?

Went to pdx fishermans last week. First time in a couple months. Shelves looked pretty good except for those types of lures including spin fish. You might want to call your retailer and find out when their shipments come in. Just an idea. Kind of in the same boat with spin fish😉🥃🇺🇸

For whatever reason, spinfish have been fairly tough to get since they came out.  A few high profile people post YouTubes from B-10 and all of a sudden you can't get one anywhere.

I would hit your local stores and then check Sportsmans and Fishfields for shipping them.  I also sometimes can find stuff at West Marine, they have a very small but pretty decent selection and nobody shops there apparently as they never have bare pegs.

Try Bobs in Longview. I was in there a week ago and they had a huge supply of Spinfish. I didnt look at their Superbait rack but will probably be down there tomorrow if there is something specific you would like me to look for.

Post up some of these "known" killer color patterns so I can give them a shot in MA 6, 11, and 13 this summer.

The most successful patterns for me personally have been the double take, rotten banana, hot tamale, hotter tamale, and the mexican hat.

Have you tried ordering directly from Brads? I ordered a few items recently and it was hassle free.

If you're on the westside ever, Sportco in Fife usually has some.  You may be able to order them too.

Maybe you could hold out a till summer. The newest fancy lure will come out and just grab those😆. This year was the greatest with the 360/spinfish combo or 3.5 spinners flying off the shelves. Hootchies and herring till the end! Check Bob's in Longview.

Superbaits have been a constant in my tackle box for the last few years, that said only in rivers. I haven't had much luck in the salt with them. Cut plug and mini cut plug are a different story all together. Run those behind a LEO flasher and it's pretty dang good especially when you figure out the tuna/krill/anise combo they are looking for.

Agree, there's always some new craze, but 3.5 spinners or the like have been around and catching fish for decades.
