Anyone ever use one?  I'm looking for cheap transport up a dirt road this fall.  I don't need anything fast, won't use it the rest of the year and don't need to climb gnarly stuff.

I have something very similar. It's the RT 200 and it was like $600 at Walmart. It's awesome, but I highly recommend getting one with AT LEAST the front suspension. There are minibikes with both front and rear suspension and they take a ton of pain out of your back. If you stick to pavement it doesn't matter, but you'll feel every one of those little bumps without shocks.

The second thing, while the stock headlights are complete garbage, they let other riders see you and they can be swapped out for a much brighter LED. Definitely worth getting one with a headlight.

Thanks, I've already talked myself up to a better model.  Seems like they are pretty portable, easy to haul with a hitch rack.

I own the BT200, which has the headlight and front shocks. I've got mine all souped up for racing. Out of the box not much power or speed. Did about 18 mph out of the box and 22mph once I cut the throttle stop off.

With it souped up right now, top speed is about 40 mph. If I take the governor out, it would probably add another 15mph.

Seriously looking at the MB200, front and rear shocks, front & rear brakes and $1,200 out the door.  I'm fairly sure I could rig a trailer for it as well in the rare event I have something to haul out.

It would be a good choice. Out of the box it would be comparable, probably a little better than my hopped up BT200. It has disc breaks and rear shocks which the Coleman doesn't have. All the Coleman's have drum brakes.

Probably about 50-60 miles.

Further than I want to go for sure.  You can add an aftermarket tank to replace the fake one or a tiny spare can would get you anywhere.

You could carry spare fuel in one of the premixed cans for small engines. They are just a quart. But that should allow for a fill up and then some.

Finally got it in this week.  Being from China, there were a few expected glitches but nothing a new chain, valve stem and replacement bolt can't fix.  It fired up first pull.

It's pretty dang fun to ride, brings me back to my childhood with my best friend's Tote Goat.

I'll have it all ready for dirt trials next week but probably delay that looking at the rain forecast.

Overall, if it is semi-reliable it should do what I want come September.

Ended up with the Hurricane, front brakes and better tires.  I figured front brakes would be nice coming down a hill with me and a quarter on my back.

Cool, it has a torque converter. Don't know if you know, but the driven pulley is adjustable depending on if you ride on dirt or pavement. There's three holes and it it usually set on the middle hole. depending if you move it to the left or right hole, one will give you more low end and the other will give you more top.
