Thanks guys for all the info and insight.  Anyone want to suggest a unit that does not require you to pack in on horses to get into decent elk numbers during the archery season.  Willing to hike up and down.

Just ran onto this thread, I had to chuckle, I know the guy in the photo. I can tell you exactly where this bull came from, and it is not from the US and it was killed inside wire. Knowing how you guys think, you probably have disgust, but I will tell you that the guide is an extremely capable hunter. He just happens to spend part of his year working for the place this was taken.
