So, so sorry Bone. Hold on to all the memories and just continue to make him proud. That's what he would want.
We give your trophy that final compliment!

Saying good-bye really is hard, I can feel your pain.  This really hits hard for me as well: Your father was exactly 3 weeks younger than my own father (and he is still with us).  This time comes for us all, we can't escape it.  May you be at peace, Sir.

My sincere condolences Bone.  It has been a tough year and too many great men have passed in the past year.  Heaven has accepted some amazing men into its fold recently.

Always hard, no matter when, or why.

They best way to honor those we lost is to tell a story about them.that way they live on in the story and we get to know them as you did.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Oh man. Tough to read this one. So sorry for your family’s loss, Doug. He’s a legend. RIP, Idabooner.

Deepest condolences, am praying for you and your  family today.  It is good to hear what a man he was, and is, and how deep the father son memories you have.  Lotta blessings in your pain, wish we could lift some of the latter.
