The factory lockers in my Chev have never failed
Just sayin
Sorry if I’m misinformed
When I stomp the gas pedal down, both rear tires spin until I let off.
When in 4wd both fronts sling mud or snow equally

@jeffro
What Chevy do you have that comes with factory lockers?
:yeah:
Some Chevys came with Gov Lock rear end . Other than that I'm guessing Posi .
Only factory truck I know of with a front locker is the new Power Wagons .

That's what I was guessing.

Thanks.

I am absolutely not an expert in this area.

I have a 2006 2500HD SLT.......    Love that truck.

Pretty sure yours and mine both come stock with a limited slip rear differential and an open front differential.    Which means it might throw mud up front, but once good and stuck, only one wheel will spin.

I'm also pretty sure that a front locker on them isn't even a factory option.

Personally, I love lockers.
My H3 came with a rear locker and I had a front locker installed.
If I get stuck, I want to be really good and stuck!     :chuckle:

I wonder how many people will touch their nose to their screen trying to read this...

Not the original owner, but it came with some mods when I bought it.
When I make tight turns on dry pavement, it will hop, skip, drag? a tire. Whatever you call it
The rear is locked. Don’t know about the front, but never been stuck enough to find out, I guess
I really try to avoid that
One shot. One kill!
