Just want to say thanks again Rick for the great looking and sounding calls. And thanks for the bonus calls as well. :IBCOOL: Will be trying out the bear call Sat morning in Copalis. I am going to have to see if there is some type of meeting I can attend for this addiction. Thanks again Mark

Rick, we're thinking about grabbing some of your calls. Do you have any MP3's of what we're supposed to sound like with your different calls?

Do you recommend different calls for thick woods and brush than you would for bruins in high meadows?

:)I have several calls Rick made, many of them early in his career and some of the newer ones. I have about 100 custom calls and dozens of production. I take about 20 yotes per year on average and call some that I miss or screw up and for other people. I say these things to offer back up to my opinion not to brag.

Ricks calls are as good as any on the market, any sound that can't be made with his calls cant be made with any. Of course YOU must practice, listen to sounds, try new things, I think I taught Rick to "trill" his tongue to make a very different sound.

I would say, get a: peeper or magnum peeper call, two open reeds, one higher pitch one lower and a closed reed big raspy one.  I love the Peeper calls and use them a LOT.

That Mag. Squeeker is a kick azz call... and they're just about fool proof. A couple weeks ago I spotted a coyote just outside Auburn around 8:00 in the morning. It was about 100 yards off the side of the road so I pulled over to show it to my (not quite) two year old son. The dog was just chillin' like it didn't have a care in the world so I pulled the Mag. Squeeker from its pearch on my rear-view mirror and handed it to my son... he knows what to do with the "whistle". He started in on the call, that dog's ears perked right up, and within about 30 seconds he had that dog at 40 yards! I figured that may have earned him a spot on a stand or two come August... how cool would it be to kill a coyote called in by a two year old?

No Mercy, SIR!
