The kid and the chain reminds me of a similar event 70 yrs. ago in Montana.....some things one does not forget.  A video may have been instructive.

As far as instructive lessons Gramps, some lessons might be retained better self taught. As in “ be mindful you don’t get your feet fouled in that chain”
