Long Range Target Practice Near Seattle
« on: August 25, 2022, 01:00:17 AM »
Need to find some public land under a 2 hour drive from Seattle that I can target practice from 200 to 500 yards. I've had a hard time e- scouting such locations.

Doubt something other than a public range will be shared.  These kind of spots are hard to come buy and generally see too much traffic already.  This is just short of asking for a Honey Hole. :twocents:
May that for which I prepare never come to pass.

yep..
200-500 shouldnt be too hard to find, you just gotta go burn some fuel to find it.
but i agree...no offense but im not posting my spots out here so that someone googling it can find it and then it turns into a trash pit and then gets closed down.
but to be helpful, the renton sportsmans club gun range has a 200 yard rifle range.
i hate that place and havent been in 10 years, but they have what you're asking for.

200-300 are easy, you can do that at multiple ranges.

:yeah:

200 - 500 yards on public land and you’re likely to risk shooting over some hiker/dirt biker/ATVer’s head.  Or worse.  Especially if you are unfamiliar with the area.

Keep it safe, shoot at a range.
