Weyerhaueser - Temporary Closure of Permit and Lease Access
« on: September 08, 2022, 09:08:05 PM »
In case you missed it...Weyerhaeuser sent out the following in an email today:

Given the upcoming weather forecast, we will be temporarily closing access to all our Washington Permit Areas and Washington Lease Areas for two days. The closure is from midnight Thursday, September 8th, through midnight Saturday, September 10th.

The permit areas affected by this are:  Vail, Pe Ell North, Pe Ell South, Aberdeen, Longview - St. Helens, Bear River, Stella, and Yacolt.

It definitely changes my game plan for Saturday, and I'm sure tons of other people.  Maybe everyone should just stay home until the second weekend...

I saw the comment in the 90 degree thread…but hadn’t seen anything with this in the title.  I thought it was important enough for its own seeing as how I have a permit but didn’t even get the email from Weyerhaeuser, my friend had to forward it.  Didn’t want someone else to not know and get screwed.

I appreciate you forwarding the email notification.  I didn't get the email nor when I logged in to my permit page did I see any notifications.  Saw the announcement on Facebook but it is not as detailed as the email.  Thank you
