Speed-Goat Pack
« on: June 18, 2023, 12:31:16 PM »
Client shot an antelope and cut the cape far too short for a desired shoulder mount. Choices for a mount are either replacement cape or come up with something creative. Here’s the creative choice the client let me run with. Tanned the cape and mounted to a head form. Attached the mount to an authentic Trapper Nelson pack. With this pack I used the original canvas bag, which I typically discard for most packboard mounts, and stuffed it with a wool blanket to make it appear the rest of the animal is inside. Real happy how it turned out, but more importantly the client loved it.
Thank you for the work.
HAPPY Father’s Day everyone!

A+ for creativity, and great execution. Brilliant idea.
What country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon & pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants.
