Northeast Colville - White Tail
« on: October 24, 2022, 07:54:52 PM »
Looking into hiking above Paradise Valley and setting up camp, maybe moving east to Smackout Pass if it doesn't pan out. 13th-19th Nov. If anyone is familiar with this area, just looking for pointers, looking to get up the logging roads as far as safely possible with the thought of being able to get out and hiking in the rest of the way. Will be coming from the west and accessing via Aladdin Rd. Has nayone been up in this area in mid-November?

Unless it is a very unusual heavy snow, should be able to drive anywhere you want to go, just bring tire chains and a shovel.

Have you been to the area I'm looking at with Google Earth? Looks like a fairly big valley with a peak just north about 800 feet above the valley. it's just east about 2 miles off of Aladdin Rd.
