October Chapter Meeting Guest Speakers
Don’t miss this one!
Our October 12th chapter meeting will include guest speakers Rob Wingard, WDFW Private Lands Biologist for Region 4 and Greg Meis WDFW Skagit Wildlife
Area Manager. Rob will review the region’s four
(4) different types of access agreements to landowners —
1. Feel Free to Hunt,
2. Hunt by Reservation,
3. Register to Hunt, and
4. Hunt by Written Permission.
As well as this year’s private properties enrolled in these programs; and the private lands hunting website. There will be plenty of hunting area tips and opportunities for your questions.
Greg will familiarize us with the many units of the Skagit Wildlife Area (SWA) including the popular Samish Unit, Debay’s Slough, and Island Unit. He will provide us with information on crop conditions, water levels, current and future activities and planning for the SWA.

The NW Chapter meets on the second Wednesday each month at the Twin Cities Sportsmen’s Club in Stanwood. Trap at 6:00 pm and business meeting starting at 7pm. Raffle at the end of each meeting. See you there and bring a friend.

Looks like a great event!  Wish I were a little closer to that corner of the state.

Thanks for organizing and posting!
