Also, the update on my opener hunt was the conditions were absolutely horrible for duck hunting. Clear skies and above 70. Tons of snow geese East of the refuge, but they mostly steered clear of the slough.

Most people left by around 10 AM. We were lucky to get 3 ducks.

Just watched tons of geese failing out of the sky into a corn field and one of my water spots with a black out. People around here are gonna throw a smack down tomorrow!

Anyone been out the last few days? I'm hoping to get out tomorrow and Thursday, but was curious about ice. The slow moving shallow stuff seemed frozen over between Burbank and wallula on Saturday.
