68.5 gr. RL17
Barnes 168 gr. TTSX

Can't open the xl but that's okay, not sure I would know what I was reading anyway. So for a Newbie at the 300WM and 300WSM what factory ammo would you recommend starting off with?

Currently my brother is shooting Federal ammo with 165 gr. bullets.  It is shooting MOA, but, we r working up handloads.

JBAR, I shot winchester supreme 180 nosler accubonds good groops and 2965fps. Last box I bought 58$ so started reloading them, other than that they were great, killed alot of animals with them. Three bulls found the bullet on the far shoulder just under the hide 63% to 67% weight retention.

I honestly don't know too much about factory ammo, I did buy a box of factory ammo while breaking my barrel in, Federal I believe.  Sorry, not too much help with factory stuff.

Caretaker, did you try any 760? If so how were your results?

I didn't try 760, my goal was to find the best load I could over a few weeks time and make that my "gold" standard, practice and know it before hunting season begins.  Over time I'll try a few new loads with my other calibers, and if the new loads excite me enough I'll load up a few groups, if they beat my standard they become my new standard.  760 is on my mind and I do have some on hand, I will try it in the next few weeks.  BTW, I exported my spreadsheet to HTM format, anyone with a browser can read it.

H4350, and hunter are scary accurate outa my 300wsm with w760 real close.   IMR7828 SSC is showing some promise.

180 e-tips runnin 3000 and MOA  with both hunter and h4350.  hunter is becoming a favorite!

760 is super sensitive to temperature changes, better work up your loads in hot weather. If you work them up in the cold, you better watch out if you fire it on a day in the 70's.

760 sounds like RL22, when the temp gets warm so do the loads.
