just wondering if anyone is getting any summer run out of the cowlitz yet. i've been too busy to head down, but there should be some fish in the lower river.

Steelhead have been being caught at the mout of the toutle for a couple weeks now. Below the toutle is nasty looking water still.

Check out Steelheaduniversity.com for weekly updates. Now that Drano is done all the guides will be posting there updates. It normally gets updated at the end of every Monday, or sometimes Tuesday. Hope this helps ya out. ;)

I know of a few being caught in a few of the rivers around here, the Cowlitz being one of them.  :drool:

I've fished the South Fork of the Toutle twice in the last week and haven't seen or heard of a fish being caught....

i've hooked into 6 fish in the last 3 outings i've made so far, so here's hoping that it'll be a good season for once...
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

Are you fishing the Cowlitz or a Tributary of it?
