GMU 251 Mission - November Quality Buck Tag
« on: August 16, 2023, 12:51:48 PM »
Hey all,

I lucked out and drew the November quality buck tag for the Mission unit. I am a Wenatchee local with access to some private land, looking for recommendations on how/where to hunt the rut in this area. I am physically fit and have no issue putting in the miles, just need help getting pointed in the right direction.

I would appreciate any input you have, happy to PM if that works better.

Thank you in advance for anyone’s input!

Being local you should know where those bucks are and how they migrate. With that said start high at snow line and follow them to town as the snow and rut starts.

I know a couple Icicle cr guys that drew that and hunted near Blewitt pass and took a couple monsters. That Ingalls creek area holds some bruises. Congrats on the draw.

I look foward to the report, that can be a great tag, I had it in 03 and it was a pretty amazing hunt for sure.  Been hoping to draw it again ever since then.

Sick tag, lots of areas you could go that could produce. I’m moving otherwise I’d lend a hand. How long have you been in Wenatchee? I feel like even non-hunters know migrations for the Mission unit around here. It’s no secret, you’ll have fun. Happy to answer Q’s or set you off on a good foot in you want to PM.

Any updates?
