Definition of frustration. Seeing this many fish for 5-6 hours and none want to bite. :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Yeah, I couldn’t figure it out. From spinners to spinfish, stuffed spin fish to maglips on a 360. Just wasn’t our day. 😉🥃🇺🇸

What country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon & pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants.

We had a very similar day on Sunday. We came on fish stacked throughout the water column and it was a struggle to get our 4 fish. Barbless hooks made it even more frustrating. We were 1 out for 10 on hook ups then nailed 3 in a row.

Been smacking them pretty good the last two weeks in the famous “dead zone”. 24” bumper to chrome protroll or shortbus and spinners on 24” leader… little bit of your favorite sauce helps.
In this family we aim for the game, we wear camo, we respect our rifles, we pray before meals, we lock and load and we never miss

That’s what I’m dealing with… lots of short strikes and fish coming off before meeting the net. Sometimes it seems to work keeping the boat in gear to keep tention on the fish and other times it works to kick in neutral and float back… all depends on what kind of current your dealing with… :dunno:

Barbless hooks are awesome.  We lost 12 fish near the boat last Sunday, that doesn't count the bites that didn't stick or the ones lost right away.

Having one hook back pretty far seems to help a bit, but some days are just not good and then the next day you don't lose a single one.

I was fishing a river from shore on some big rocks.
I could see tons of fish down there, with my own eye.
I throw the whole tackle box at them.
Nothing.
Sometimes you just don't have what there looking for.It sucks to know they are there.

Don’t mean to sound like I’m bragging. Dana I made it out today. Caught a whopper 16 inch jack. Then I looked at my card and it was my first one of the year. lol I’ve caught kokannee bigger than this thing. Fun day on the water 👍

Dana and I made it out yesterday 6hrs. Marked many. Had one jack and lost it at the boat. Almost had a whole river to our selves. Minus the ships.
