The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

 :yeah:

No lie, I'm quite surprised actually...but I'm sure the anti's are already circling the wagons with their attorneys, figuring out how/what to appeal...

All the anti groups that sue over the delisting do nothing for wildlife or their habitat but claim the title of conservation; yet you look at conservation done by hunters they can show projects to improve habitat, land acquisitions, etc. All your going to see from the other side is their ability to litigate and squander money from wildlife agencies that would other wise go to real conservation efforts that benefit all citizens.

I don't see it as a win exactly. Not a loss but no change in status so kind of treading water.

Considering they are not endangered, its a sad series of events that lead to this even being news.
What country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon & pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants.

And a step back in many ways.  The service has asked for delisting starting with the Obama administration.

Anti-hunter types don't give a snit about other citizens, evident by there conservationist projects across the country. They set them up so the properties cater to their activities and needs. There's one out on Hood Canal where they've set it up for sea kayakers to launch from and picnic but By God don't even think about fly fishing from shore.

They will remain on WA state's endangered list forever. This may be good news for ID, WY, and MT. But it won't affect management in WA.

Every other special interest group has done what they want in Washington basically since Chop/Chaz. Hunters as a special interest group could easily handle the problem and not a damn thing the state could do. The money and resources just aren’t there. I deal with several Washington government organizations and they are all falling behind.

Organizations like Defenders and HSUS spend big money on catching wolf poachers (and nothing on elk or deer poachers). Large rewards and possibly third-party investigators are some of the tools they use. They'll stop at nothing to end hunting. The wolves are just one tool to accomplish that and they have the full support of the governor because of their generous "donations".

Wolves poach 24/7, as a predator nothing compares to their decimation of the game herds.

Good Job H-W wolf lovers, are you proud of yourselves? Was it worth all that money you made from the fake environmentalist to support wolves on hunting forums? Losing all respect from real hunters etc. once the truth was known.

And each time delisting rolled around the fake environmental groups sued and won, it seemed the USFWS and the fake environmental groups were working together along with the bought judges.

I can specifically remember when reintroduction in Yellowstone came up.  Many of the hunting rags of the time and many prominent writers where in favor of it or at least 50/50.  The sportsmen was mowed over but that was because the sportsmen never organized much against it and the info that the rags were putting out wasn't telling us how bad it was going to be.  I went to Yellowstone as a kid in '91, blacker than sin but herds and herds of Elk and Moose in every creek and slough.  Finally got back 4 years ago and saw one small herd, in September, just inside the park at West Yellowstone.  Went back two years ago and saw a handful of cows at the lake and a couple bulls by Canyon.

Sad deal, they took the very best.
