300 H&H Barnes 200 Gr. LRX Reloading data
« on: February 03, 2024, 10:19:46 AM »
Anyone have any reloading Data specific to the Barnes LRX or should I use the data shown for TSX or TTSX. I'm reloading for a Ruger #1 chambered in 300 H&H. Haven't been able to find any specific data to the LRX. Thanks

No data but the .300 H&H is the most elegant looking cartridge that I have ever seen.

Yeah, everything I've read, everything I ever been told, I'm hoping it's all they make it out to be. Throw in the fact that its a Ruger #1 that I've wanted for years, I think it should shoot very well. I have a custom 1903 Springfield in 25-06 that shoot 3/4 inch groups all day so this 300 H&H will have to shoot pretty well for me to reach for it in the gun safe. In hopes of drawing a moose, goat or Ram tag leads me to believe that a little bigger umph will be needed.
