Jameson Lake was terrible!
« on: June 12, 2009, 09:09:04 PM »
Spent today fishing Jameson Lake today and did very poor. Used a proven method and only got 2 trout between 3 fishermen. Seems the lake has a BUNCH of sculpins as we lost count of how many of those we got. Some were big enought to look like small Ling cod!

wonder if the waters too warm already and put them down...how was the algae?

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Algae was not to bad. My brother from Pennsylvania managed to get his first trout. I made a an error in preping only one method of fishing. I should have loaded all the poles and should have been ready for anything.  I put to much faith in the one method.
