I retired from working at Grand Coulee Dam a couple of months ago. We have decided to sell our house, which is two blocks from Coulee Playland's boat launch in Electric City. It has a 24'x30' steel building with a 200amp service and a lean-to off one side for storing boats. We bought it from the estate of a retired guy who loved to fish. It is currently on the market, 19 Electric Blvd, Electric City, WA.
I hunt more than fish. I always thought it would make a great second home or retired house for a guy who loves to fish or boat the area. It is maybe 6 miles to launch in Rufus Woods, three to launch in Lake Roosevelt or a whopping five miles to launch at Spring Canyon.
So the question is if there is a platform to list this place where guys who might be looking for a 2nd house or retirement property might find it easily. The offer we have currently is about to fall through and I'd really like to see the neighbors get someone to fish or golf with, hahaha. We were out this weekend and my buddy across the street was daydreaming about a fishing buddy instead of a single mom with two aspiring felons for kids.
Everyone knows someone and apparently someone knows the lady with the offer. Her bad credit is coming back to haunt her at the moment and we are waiting for her to back out.
