Do you have a lot of experience fishing over around those islands?

Never fished the inside of vancouver island.  I did a bunch of research on the area though.  My biggest problem was figuring out customs going both ways.  Think I have it figured out

Ah yeah. At the Sidney Marina they have a phone and all you do is call when you get into your slip. Not sure where you would go on the way back but we go to Roche harbor.
