2024 Skykomish River Salmon and Steelhead

Do any of you know if the river is going to be open this year for fishing? The regs say it is going to be open but I got an email response from the Biologist stating it is going to be closed. Who wins?

It sounds like the Bio is talking about fall Chinook.

It will be closed for summer salmon.  Small area open for steelhead around reiter
