I moved to Idaho five years ago.  I have just been selected for a Moose Tag in area 1-1 Priest Lake area for November 1st to the 14 2024.   My old hunting buddy in Washington state suggested that I get on here and make a request for information about successfully hunting Moose in that area.  I am sure some of you guys have hunted in this area, if so I would love to hear from you with any information you feel like sharing that you think would be of value.  Thank you so much.

Good luck, I could point you to a few spots. But, really depends what your expectations are.

At age 72 almost 73 at the time of the hunt I do consider this a once in my lifetime hunt.  Any areas you would care to share would be great.  Thankyou

Congrats on the Draw, I saw quite a few moose in your unit last November while deer hunting. I’ll send you a pm
