Pine Mountain Ranch youth bull tag
« on: June 15, 2009, 05:37:29 PM »
You guys have been great help with start for my brother's Wenaha A rifle tag. I don't want to wear out my welcome too early since I'm new here, but his son drew the Pine Mountain Ranch youth any bull tag also.  Anybody know anything about the ranch?  Regs say 6000 acres that's about all I know so far and info suppose to come in mail.  I haven't seen any guys from Yakima area on the forum yet to ask.  Anybody from Yakima area out there?

Yep. Have hunted around it for a long time. My parents (and me in the summers now) live right by the Tieton Dr. feeding station, just a couple miles from the ranch (if your talking about Hansens???), so we watch mostly all of the bulls that winter in there. There are some absolute bruisers. PM me if you want.

i am pretty good friends with Cole Hansen.  They are top notch people.  It is broken timber and sagebrush you will be hunting.  Sometimes the elk are half a mile from the house. Just remember, respect the land, respect the elk, and respect them and you won't have any problems.
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton
